Isn't it extremely odd,
The absence of the one called God.
He doesn't listen to our every prayer,
How he doesn't even seem to care.
Why does an innocent child pass away,
While a murderer lives on to live another day?
Where is he when somebody takes there life,
Or when a husband beats his wife?
Every year the world slips farther into hell,
Will he show up again, time will only tell.
Did he create earth and just turn away,
Or was it an accident, just a child at play.
If there is a judgement day,
I might fall on my knees and pray.
Until then I think of God as folklore.
He created the earth, then did nothing more.

The only line that is questionable is
How he never listens to our every prayer,
It just doesnt seem to sound right.
He never listens to our every prayer.
He doesn't listen to our every prayer might work better. Think about it. :}

No light, inside for me to shine on today
Nothing but darkness in me
Darkness, night time
No moon in the sky tonight
Feeling like our lives been tucked away, today
Life is darkness, forever remain, and again
